Dear Model-Railfriend,

Welcome to my site, where I show you some parts of my layout. Excuse the simple look of my site: I am a live-time modeller, but a beginner at computers. Therefore I would like to thank my daughter Anita for her great support to create and install this professional website. Thanks also to my granddaughter Olivia for correcting my bad English.

By profession I am a electrical engineer. Now I am retired. Before, I worked in a chemical plant developing process instrumentations. My three children have gone their own way long ago. Beside doing the household and working in the garden, still some hours are left to be spent on my hobby every day. Today, I try to improve my controllers.

I have been fascinated by Model-Railroading since my childhood. By spending much time on handicrafts I reached skill quite early. Half a century ago, I started constructing my layout. The size of the half part "Holzheim" had to fit to the space available at that time. Because I can divide this whole layout into three parts it has already got over six moves. In my own home, there has been enough space for the part Steindorf as well. The following pages will give you an overall view.
